THE CURRENT SCHEDULE

This schedule is current from 1st October 2020.

We are currently stocking a range of winter goods on the Mobile Post Office as a taster of products that we sell in our retail stores.

You can purchase from the van and even place an order for other items for delivery at the following session.

THINGS WE CAN DO (AND CAN'T)

On the van we can generally do all the things that can be done at a normal Post Office branch, (with only a few exceptions).

Mails

We can accept all the usual mails: domestic and international, Signed for, Special delivery, tracked, including both Royal Mail and Parcelforce. And of course we have stamps!

We can also process all Royal Mail Home shopping returns, e.g. Asos and Amazon returns, even the ones with just a barcode on your smartphone! And also Parcelforce Contract returns.

Finance

You can withdraw cash from your bank account, or Post Office Card Account, you can pay in cash or cheques too, just as you can at any Post Office branch and also find out your balance.

We can process bill payments for those companies that have the facility to pay at the Post Office, either by cash, cheque or card.  Including: water rates, council tax and DVLA motor vehicle tax.

Travel

We can also supply foreign currency, Travel Insurance, and Passport applications via "Check and Send".

We can also help with applications for many other Post Office services such as Broadband and Phone, Over 50s Car Insurance, Savings accounts and Life cover.

You can top-up your mobile phone, and buy a Postal Order!

We operate out of Cam branch (near Dursley), run by L.W.Clutterbuck Ltd, (yes, the Funeral Directors) and we have access to items that we sell in the retail part of the branch as well as the Hardware store. We carry some stock from the two stores Including a range of cards and stationery, batteries, giftwrap, and seasonal items - come and have a look at what we have or feel free to place an order, and we'll endeavour to bring it with us next time.

Things we can't do are: MoneyGram (sending money to other people), Health Lottery, Identity checking, Click and collect (having parcels delivered to the branch) and Click and collect for foreign currency.

North Nibley

We are now stopping at North Nibley for an hour on our way back from Wickwar following the closure of the village shop and Post Office. We will park outside the Black Horse Inn if space permits or outside the Village Hall if that is not possible.

We are very pleased to be able to serve this community with Post Office services.

We will be there between 1:15pm and 2:15pm. (Now 3:15pm-4:15pm from 9th Sept 2019)

Wickwar

Following the closure of Wickwar Post Office we are now also going to stop at Inglestone Road on a Friday between 11am and 1pm.

MAP OF LOCATIONS SERVED

The Mobile Post Office is fully equiped with a taillift ideal for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.
